Accessing QNAP nas

I have vyprvpn connected on my QNAP nas.
I have vyprvpn connected on my Android phone.
Unable to access my QNAP nas from my phone through my home WiFi network.

If i disconnect vyprvpn on my phone, I’m able to access the nas.

Is there a way to access the nas through my home WiFi network without having to disconnect vyprvpn on my phone?

Hello, @Roasty

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble!

Could you please let us know how you have your Android device configured to access your QNAP? What exactly happens when you try to access your NAS while your Android device is connected to VyprVPN?

I have two ways of accessing the NAS.

A) use the qnap Android apps i.e QManager, QGet etc. These use whichever connection is accessible (wifi, myqnapcloud connect etc)

B) enter nas IP address into chrome search bar and log in directly.

I am able to log in to the NAS using my laptop (also connected to vyprvpn).
I am able to connect to the NAS using the Qnap Android apps (when connected to vyprvpn).
Not sure why I can’t login to the nas via direct IP Address from my phone.

Have tried disconnecting both nas and phone, disabled Nat firewall, and reconnecting both to vyprvpn, but no success.

Hmm

Tried it on my Samsung tab s2 and the same thing… Unable to login to nas via IP address
