Connection Log Query

I have noticed on the VyprVPN client for Mac that you have the ability to clear your connection logs. I can do this easily via the app in iOS or Android, but the “clear log” option doesn’t appear to be present on the Mac desktop version…in so far as I can see.

I have looked high and low through the interface but can’t seem to find a way to clear connection logs.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction? Thanks

Hello Scotus,

Thank you for contacting us via our official forum.

At this time we only have ability to view/e-mail the connection logs from within the OSx application.

If you are wanting to clear this log simply find the following:

/var/log/GoldenFrog/vyprvpn_connection.log

Delete this log file and then restart the application. Once that is done the application will start a new blank log file.

You can check it was successful by viewing the new connection log and all that should be there is when the application restarted after you deleted the old file.

If you have any additional questions please let us know.

Regards,
Dustin
