When connecting to UK as shown above, while not on the VPN, you are getting less than 1 Mb/s (0.6Mb/s).
See the test you provided here:
http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4603971065 <-- 0.60 Mb/s to the UK while off the VPN
http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/46039637231 <-- 0.54 Mb/s to the UK while on the VPN
We do not throttle the speed of the VPN connection.
There are many factors that can effect your speeds. As Cody mentioned above, data encryption is one factor and other factors include the distance from the server you are connecting to (high latency) as well as the stability of the underlying ISP connection.
The only speed tests I see from you to the same location, while on and off the VPN, show under 1 Mb/s whether on or off the VPN.
Please note: On your previous ticket the first set of tests you provided were not to the same location: The first test while on the VPN was to London and the second test off the VPN was to Hong Kong. This does not provide us with accurate results as the speed tests are not to the same location (both on and off the VPN).
Please see your initial reply from your previous ticket where you gave the initial speed results:
As you can see - the speeds connected vs not connected are massive…
If you can please provide us with a location you are getting slow speeds to where we can help to improve the speeds please let us know.
We will need to collect speed tests from you in order to demonstrate a notable difference in speeds when off and on the VPN.
All of the previously provided tests do not demonstrate a notable decrease in download speed when comparing speeds to the same location on and off the VPN.
We await your reply to the ticket.
