为什么中国电信不能用vyprvpn?

只能说,vyprvpn在用户初始验证上需要改进下网络线路啊。
在大陆境内,首次安装后登录,必须使用VPN连接之后再去登录才可成功。
不过登录之后,会话的令牌就直接保存在本地,以后开启客户端都是自动登录的状态。
只要不是重装系统或卸载客户端,基本上无大碍了。

不过最近国内网络审查形式严峻。除了变色龙协议外,其他协议都无法访问相应网站。可见这网络审查技术相当高超。

希望vyprvpn能保持良好的服务~

I’m looking forward vyprvpn service in Feburary(next month)…
China claimed to block all personal VPNs last year… I’m hoping it would not effect on VyprVPN.

May I ask that is there any new plan about VPN for IPv6?
I think in a few years we have to use IPv6 to connect the internet in China and if VPN is not supported yet, how to bypass the Internet consorship?

呃,原来你用的基本套餐的是吧。使用变色龙协议确实必须升级套餐。
每年80刀5个用户并发确实对于普通用户来说确实偏贵,不过金蛙的服务还不错。
可以找几个好友一起分担一下。

I may have some problems with some U.S. severs using chameleon 256 protocol, popular servers such as Seattle/San Francisco/Los Angeles/Washington/Chicago/New York/Miami, only 2 or 3 U.S. servers are fine by now.
In detail:

  1. On PC, The servers are accessible and dialable, but not usable. Cos no data turely come through. And today is the first day I am experiencing it.
  2. On android, when connect to these servers, says: Connect failure,API call failed.
    I fear it may have something to do with the latest upgrades of China’s GFW, so pay attention and pls help, thanks!

Currently behind TGWall… in the last two weeks we have used chameleon and openvpn jsut fine on our phones (sometimes run into issues initially connecting, but resolves itself with a little patience). Our current issue is that our VYPR router app seems to work on our computers to block geo content, but through our appletv everything is still geoblocked. I have switched to multiple servers and nothing has worked. If we connect via phone or laptop (mac and windows) we are able to bypass geoblocking… any suggestions?

You may need to clear the DNS cache on your AppleTV. I believe you can flush the DNS cache by putting the device in sleep mode and then unplugging it. Wait about 30 seconds, then plug the Apple TV back in and connect it to your VyprVPN network.

Just tried that… didnt work… I think its an issue with the vypr app on my router. when I connect through my china telecom router and use the vypr app on my phone I can connect and watch just fine.

If you are able to stream your desired content over your VyprVPN network on all devices except the Apple TV, it’s safe to say the issue is isolated to the Apple TV itself. The only thing within the VyprVPN application that could be causing this issue is if you have manually specified that the Apple TV does not use the VPN in the “Per Device VPN” section of the Tomato router app. I would suggest checking here to make sure that is not the case.

Thanks for the help. Its not just on the appletv, any device connected to the router cannot connect. But if I connect to my china telecom router and connect via the VYPR ios app, MAC or through desktop in windows it connects fine.
tried multiple server location and even changed between chameleon and openvpn.
