Websites are not loading properly


I have configured my Synology router to allow access to WAN via VPN only. This has worked well for about a year.

Since I moved to another flat + changed the ISP + renewed my yearly vypr membership (all in the same couple of days) - I do face a performance problem on almost every websites. This means: the browser takes “hours” to do the handshake when calling website via HTTPS.

If I wait and do e.g. a speedtest, the speed isn’t that low (even if it’s still not what I pay for).

If I disconnect the VPN connection on my router everything works fine.

What could be the reason? Is my new ISP somehow blocking me? What can I do to find the source of this problem?
